Sylvain Willenz’s Scribble series of textiles celebrates the imperfection and charm of a hand-drawn line. Scribble takes loosely drawn patterns directly from the designer’s sketchbook and transforms them into weaves. Grid features a framework of lines that are relaxed and gently undulating; geometrical rigor made pleasingly rough. The Grid rug is made from thick, hand-tufted European wool for an especially high-quality finish. Produced in India by a weaving collective to global ethical standards such as GoodWeave, SGS, and Woolmark.
